With the intention of promoting the construction of historical memory and contributing to a broad narrative that calls for reconciliation, this publication gathers first-person testimonies from ten family units of human rights victims in Venezuela, all of whom are graduates of Transforma. The testimonial genre is used to center those who suffer from impunity and courageously embrace the struggle imposed by the Venezuelan State.
By moving beyond the mechanized recollection of the past, this work recognizes the subjects of fundamental rights as essential in rebuilding the social fabric and the democratic system.
